Sha Bespoke’s involvement were to design a new facade of an existing extension in Putney for our good friends and lead architects, Cox Architects.

In its original configuration, the property boasted exceptional gardens but limited angles to enjoy them fully. The existing conditions of the house are maintained through a carefully designed threshold where the original fabric meets new. Internally, the new extension amplifies the relationship between the internal and external spaces; by providing generous windows towards the garden.

The combination of red brick and render coping in the new elements join harmoniously with the brick and tiles of the existing structure, connecting the old with the new.
